DEFECTED RECORDS

Defected Records - one of the most iconic independent record labels of all time have quite possibly the greatest love ethos around - "in our house, we are all equal".

MR. KOYA and Defected came together in a celebration of universal love for one and all and produced a new Limited Edition Shirt made from 100% Lyocell - a soft, breathable fibre made from regenerated wood cellulose.

No matter whether you're coupled, single, colour x, gender y, feline or canine - we want you to feel the House Music - All Life Long.

PLANET BROADCASTING

We collaborated with Weekly Planet podcast to create a Limited Edition shirt for their listeners, which included hidden easter eggs within the design - such as catchphrases and host faces.

Merchandise was available on our website for pre-order and distribution handled by us. Handled full process of design and manufacture to final shipping.

PORTSEA HOTEL

Portsea Hotel is the most picturesque hotel on the Mornington Peninsula is the the go-to place for a weekend lunch session to recharge and drink in the crisp, salt air.

MR. KOYA produced the Hotel's restaurant & bar staff uniforms as part of the Hotel's re-opening after a full refurbishment.

A CHEEKY COCKTAIL EVENT FOR SANE AUSTRALIA

MR. KOYA and curated menswear boutique @finefellow.co collaborated with award winning mixologist @cocktailsbykurtis to create a series of cocktails that mirrored the energy and vibe of each shirt.

We had a rad celebration recognising the importance of always being authentic and being mindful enough to seek help when things are looking down.

All profits from the evening were donated to @saneaustralia who support four million Australians affected by complex mental illness.

KOYA would be a depraved empty shell of a man were he without the farmers who supply us with cotton, the digital textile printers who ensure the fabric is exactly as we envisaged it & the legendary shirt makers who measure, grade, cut, sew, button, fasten, review, iron, fold, pack, and review meticulously yet again every single millimetre of these delicious shirts.
